Boise itself covers about 84 square miles of land, from the Foothills down across the river valley. Around it sit separate cities with their own city halls: Garden City, ID and Eagle to the northwest, Meridian to the west, Kuna to the southwest, Star farther out to the west-northwest and Nampa over the line in Canyon County.
The Boise River Greenbelt ties several of these together. The 29-mile path, begun in 1969, runs through Boise, Garden City, ID and Eagle. Whichever town you're in, the roofer we match you with confirms the local permit rules and pulls the permit.

Near the Edge of the Area?
Plenty of homes carry a Boise, Meridian or Kuna mailing address but sit outside any city limit. Those addresses fall under unincorporated Ada County. If that's you, check with Ada County Development Services (208-287-7900) about permits, and tell us your address so we can see whether a roofer covers it.
One naming note: the City of Boise is in Ada County. Boise County is a separate county and isn't part of this service area. If the area check comes back empty or you're on a border street, call (208) 555-0147 and we'll tell you whether we can help.
